Thanks for the awesome article. I was in the military, stationed in Long Beach during that time. I was not into the Pilot/Odyssey thing then. I really wish I would have been, and went to those races and meet the drivers and mechanics. Wish I knew then what I know now.

Fun. Mike was a mess (in a good way). Wide open and a really nice guy. Huge. The article was correct. Jerry had huge hands and it amazed me he was so precise with a little porting tool in his hand. Good people. I miss them, but am happy to say they were part of my racing family. Happy New Year by the way!
