Anybody got an answer for her ??

You don't get in and if you do, you get the basic and they send you home to die.
Now that for a worker that there company does not supply ins. If your on Obama care or I don't want to work care. You get in and get a big bill like $200,000.00. That is why a lot don't go until it to late. Just to get there can cost you 2,000.00 for the ride. If your an illegal of sorts you get in and run back home when you recover. The us system is out of wack. It cost an american 1,500.00 a month and it usually only covers 50% if you lucky most have an 80/20.
There's other options however when all done and said your broke for life unless you make 150,000.00 a year and don't live in California.
This why it's hard to buy a house, car and a toy to go ride. Heath care in most cases cost more than a house payment.
They say us americans are greddy. We're not it's just a cost doing the business of life.
Try buying health care at 15.00 an hour and the company don't supply it. Do the math on that one.
I don't know how any young family gets by month to month. They can't save any money to survive a pandamic let alone have health care or food.

So the quick answer, be in good health and test your luck. The strong survive and the weak die.

Sad but true. Welcome to the American dream. Life death and taxes and if your lucky have a pilot and ye ha every chance you get.

Got to add this know that the shot is available.
They say every american gets one at no cost.
Then our great system said what. So now you get the shot for free however you pay an admin fee. If you don't have ins the government remburses this cost to the one giving them out. That being said there is a list system telling who gets it and when. Imagine where your at on the list if you don't have ins and no money for the admin fee.

I could go on forever. Do the math on how many have been in the hospital with an average cost of 200.000.00 each and the time they had a shot may 2020 and the time to get a shot average it out. It's a maga cash cow. They say the economy has suffered. I say bull crap.follow the chain all the way through. It's basic economics that they tough us in high school.
And now we have a new president elect.
Read up on the new so called stemulas package to which that polis chick would not do untill she got her way and go Holly cash cow.
I just sit here and laugh then the reality sets in that a lot of people suffer for no reason and fell bad for those have it worse than I.

I think they call this a rant. Not sure really. Is the truth of a matter a rant?

Adnoh, I think you said it very well. I wish I could go on as there is so much more to it. Just a simple thought though, US politics is the ONLY profession where the employees (elected officials) make all the choices for the company (The USA) and make more money than their Employers (the Taxpayers). Something is very wrong.

Ok thx guys, I'll pass it on.

Now for my rant -- A few years ago I crashed my oddy, broke my back and destroyed/totaled the machine. Search and rescue was called out, a helicopter with long line, another helicopter (medivac), ICU and an 8 day stay in intensive care, 1 MRI, 2 CT scans. Total cost to me ------- $80
The $80 is what we all pay if we have to call an ambulance. It don't matter if it's a helicopter.

I can hear all of you going OHHHHHHH AHHHHHHH OHHHHHH that's great.
NO IT'S NOT !!!!
Like all things in life -- nothing is FREE.

As we speak today gasoline here is $1.17/liter. That's $5.26/gal imperial. Almost $5 usa gal.
Also 50% of my paycheck is ultimately going to taxes.
They pull 20% federal tax off my check right off the top before I even hold it. We have a 6% GST and 6% PST sales tax on anything you buy. So that's another 12% of my paycheck. So far we have 32% tax on my wages. Now we have a "carbon tax" that the current Liberal PM introduced. I'm not sure how much that costs me. We also have user fees, levies, eco fee (on things like paint etc), delivery fee (on natural gas to heat my house), I could go on and on. At the end of the day 50% of my pay is gone to taxes and that's for my whole working life. I'm a certified millwright and make above average wages (usually union) and can just get by. Like was stated above: I don't know how people on minimum wage can survive.

CO

Edit:
Milk $4.88/gal
Cheese $8/lb
Chicken $8/lb
Red meat $11/lb
loaf of bread $5
Do I need to go on ?? https://www.numbeo.com/food-prices/in/Vancouver
