Thought I would just post this since I haven't posted in a while.

We have had record rains here and every highway is now destroyed.
If you want to go anywhere in this province you MUST come through my home town.
The mountains force you here and every highway meets here.
This video shows where I live and the areas around me.
It also shows the airport which is only about a mile from my house and where I get my fuel for the oddy's.
As of last night they got hwy #7 open one direction and traffic only allowed to go west.
Today they will allow truckers ONLY to go west.
Food running low but they will restrict traffic to trucks probably.
Store shelves empty almost. We had over 1200 people stranded in this town but in my opinion it was a hell of a lot more.
I saw a guy with an oddy on his truck, stranded in town so I invited them to stay at my place. They took showers and we BS in the shop.
He said that he had just bought it for $3500
He dropped the oddy off at my house and said fix it LOL.
I repaired the broken axel but a lot more work. He lives not to far from me near the big city. The interesting thing is the Hondaline tach  :-) . I told him he better engrave his name in it or it will be gone when he comes to pick up the machine in a few months LOL. To many things wrong with it to list.

Wow sorry to hear that, that is not a good situation.I don't know if its global warming or what but this is happening worldwide and it's not going to get any better.
Personally I think the shit will be hitting the fan pretty soon to where it will be like the dark ages again

Here is a recent video of the flood damage to a very important area of our town.
This place is about 4-5 miles from my house.
It's also the place where Sylvester Stallone shot the movie "First Blood" and the movie that made him famous.
When I was a teen in the late 1970's this area was sometimes a party area and had a great swimming hole to lay around in. I see that it is now wrecked. Too bad.
I don't know the people who made this video but they are locals.

It's about a half hour long but a nice vid.

First Blood Was a great movie but that’s not the movie that made him famous, Rocky is what made him famous
