FYI I just bought a new Haynes repair manual for my VW I was suprised when I opened it up to find the inside is like a friggen newspaper, yup all the pages quality and picture quality is like reading your local news paper, even smells like a news paper, all the wiring diagrams suck and are about worthless, I can make due but its just another fine product turned to shit, the last Haynes manual I bought was still on white real paper and used quality paper..

I suggest you guys thinking of buying one of these brand manuals open them in the store and check the page quality to ensure you can read what your going to work on before you get it home..

I have two or three VW manuals and the best one was left in the back seat for a few years of the '71 super we picked up a couple years ago, the cover is so faded you can't even tell what it is without opening it up.
