I run both so don't know how I should vote.
I think I have the carbon reeds in the black Engine (spare) but have not run it yet.
Both of our machines have the glass right now I believe.
Also removed the reed stops on all engines. I did cycle each Engine with the starter and no carb when they were on the rebuild stand. The reeds actually open very very little. I don't think they have much time to flex open a half inch LOL.
