Never know maybe legit. But no pics of actual buggy and a big fat zero on feedback.

I could be wrong, but looks like a scam to me.
I have seen those stills are taken from various vid clips that I have seen before.
Look at the drivers in the diff environments.
Diff size person,helmets etc.

Or he might be a "dealer" who has no inventory? The $8000.00 might be his wholesale price, and any bid over and abov that would be his profit margin????

Says new. wouldn't you have a showroom floor pic or something not pulled from the web. He has no deposit so maybe legit but just odd listing.

Newbies to Ebay sometimes don't have digital cameras, this seller might be a complete computer virgin. If its a scam, not much thought went into it. A lot of scams are better planned. Ive been buying/selling on Ebay since 1998 and I've seen a lot of different scams. One of the most common is a scammer will take control of a well respected Ebay account, like one that has over 500 feedback, he does this by sending out fake Ebay emails,if you have an Ebay account you probably have received one in the past, the email will tell you your Ebay account is in jepardy or some BS like that, so a nonsuspecting Ebay seller would react by clicking on the fake Ebay link in the email thus giving away his Ebay password to the scammer,at this time the scammer will post an auction, on the unsuspecting seller's Ebay account, the listings are usually for classic cars, ATV's etc, the price for the item will be well below what the item is worth but enough to put thousands of dollars into the pocket of the scammer. Generally he will set the auction with a very low Buy It Now price, he will tell you to email him directly, his email address will be printed in the Ebay auction ad, and he will tell you not use Ebay's "ask seller a question", otherwise the questions would go to the sellers account being "hijacked". The end result is you wire him cash and he goes free trip to Cancun. Get it??.Yes people fall for this and wire money all the time. Ebay just recently advertises to buyers to NEVER wire money. Now Ebay also wants buyers to use PayPal only, they don't even let the sellers put "will take cashiers check"in thier Ebay ad anymore....Since Ebay owns PayPal now, they only want buyers to use PayPal so they can collect the outragous fees that PayPal charges, Oh man don't get me started, LOL... I can go for ever with Ebay and thier practices, Ive seen a lot of changes with Ebay over the years and mostly to put more money in the pocket of Ebay and not to protect buyers...Although it is a very very small percent of Ebay transactions that go bad, you still have to practice common sense with EVERY transaction. Anyhow back to the subject....With zero feedback anyone would b off thier rocker to send him $$ or expect him to ship anything but photos of a Revolt,LOL. Definately a "must see in person" and "must pickup" transaction, or... stay clear from his auction.

I agree w/ Stix...been on eBay myself since 01' and have seen a lot of things go down in my 150+ transactions. As for PayPal...only good if you are the buyer, sux as the seller as Stix describes. Also, if you use a credit card for PayPal purchases depending on your contract items are actually insured and you can get reimbursed for a seller to deliver goods as contracted for. But, back to the add. If you're interested get a real home land-line telephone number, a pic of the title and VIN. Run them both on search engines and see what you turn up...

Oh yeah I fully agree don't get me started on Ebay and Paypal either. You know I wondered where the cashiers check thing went. Also have you noticed that Fed EX is not listed on shippers. Why is that I wonder? I have a Fed EX hub up by me and thye are great to deal with. Heck I use to use USPS but they have went thru the roof on shipping and you never know if what you have is a traking number or insured. They are very strange. You know they paypal fees arent bad I can deal with them. But add paypal fees on top of Ebay fees and wow its alot. On 30 day auctions the listing fees are cheap but they don't tell you its 10 percent went you sell. I have no issues with the current buggy I am parting out because my initial investment was very reasonable but yeah they get you one way or the other. Also word of warning fellas. Accept USPS Money orders only. I am a cop and can tell you they are like cash. You can go right to the post office and cash them. Anyone with a good printer can print a MO or cashiers check I have seen them all.

almost no one takes cashier checks anymore, too many scammers using fake ones. hell even my bank makes you wait up to seven days on checks over a certain amount now. I live in a small town, and the bank has been screwed a few times already.

I used to take cashiers checks before most Ebayers had a Paypal account. But only COD. So when my item arrived at the buyers front door he would hand the cashiers check to the Fed Ex driver, Fed Ex driver then verified it at that time. Fed Ex used to, I don't know if they still do, but they would guarantee the check to be good, long story short this guy tried to use a bogus cashiers check in the tune of $1200. Fed Ex found it to be bogus so he got nabbed, I guess he forgot to research that part of his scam, LOL.

Anyone trying to scam someone wouldn't post their pic on ebay for all to see.

Easiest thing to do is go look at it.
