I am thinking of getting this done to my 379 peterbilt... I want to add a pusher or lift axle! I don't think I would need that much added though!

Hello the purpose of this project was all his Idea. I ask him that same question.
He said that the ride will get a lot better which it did he was planing on add to the cab.
But now he like the way it looks. plus the truck can back in to spots better because he now can over steer the trailer by a lot.

thanks speedchaser

Some truckers think it looks cool... I will agree it will help the ride, but I would be nervouse with the cab sticking out that much further... Hard to sleep at night when you worry about the hood getting ripped off by some kid who isn't quite experienced enough to NOT hit your truck while he backs up... Had it done to mine the first month I had it...
