buddy got an ktm that's was in an load of scrap can anyone help me out

its an pile of crap but i know some are worth money for parts

its an 88-90 KTM probably a 250cc but hard to tell, looks like a 93 front end on it,

got any numbers? serial, jug or otherwise?


if the Engine is any good it might be worth something but otherwise there aint much there, frames are worthless, free or maybe $50. tops

There was another code but I can't find it I got it some where

8608 means its a 1987 that was made in August of 1986

Engine numbers are usually on the lower left side towards the front of the Engine

I never saw the bike in front of me

Looks like an 1986 350 or an 500

no that frame number means its an 1987,

KTM posts the date of manufacutre in month and year

it could be 250 or 350 but i doubt a 500 the pipe is not large enough, it almost be twice that size close to the Engine
