Just a series of small heart attacks quite normal before the big one :-)

Go see a neurologist they can test you for carpel tunnel I have had it done and have it in both hands, also have 3 bad disc in my neck that leave me with numb arms every once and a while wake up and one or both are numb.

left arm jaw pain ... hmmm could be heart attack or pending H. A....often times they will do a cardiac enzyme test to see if you indeed had one...do you ever monitor your blood pressure?
numbness and pain can very well be CTS try keeping your hands open ie fingers straight and wrists straight in bed....
can be difficult... your sleeping... people have found initial relief by placing there hands down by their sides or even putting them in the pockets of their PJs or sweat pants while they sleep.. if you get relief this way.... buy some wrist splints and wear them every night and all should be ok...
yes they can do nerve conduction tests but this just tells them if you have damage... at the start of CTS you may not have a + test result although the symptoms are clearly there...
pm if you need more info...
oh and for the love of God go see your M.D.
it could just save your life....

yes the test is not fun.... often they are quick to cut you... CTR surgery.. but this does not always go as planned and can come back...

I had the same thing. Its was pintched nerves in my neck. Heart attack symtoms are for your entire arm not just your hand

I've got it in my left arm. Sleep on it wrong, or rest my elbow on an armrest too long and it will go numb and weak. Tests showed some "permanent" nerve damage.
I was prescribed a B12 supliment, it has lessened the frequency of issues but not eliminated it.

Back when I had a real working mans job my arms would go numb all the time. Was a bitch for sure. Wake up in the morning and not even be able to button my pants. Once I stopped working with my arms all the time it went away. To be honest forgot all about it. Take a vacation!

Good boy ... Wear it every night and often after a few months you can utilize it when it acts up

But seriously, glad to hear all is better.

I had the carple tunnel test done a few years ago. Agreed worst thing ever. I had a problem with my right wrist ,when I would move my hand up and down the bones in my wrist would squeak like two tree branches rubbing together.Went to the Doctor they said it sounds like carple tunnel. So they run the shock test first on the right hand then the left and right again on a higher seting. It hurt like hell .The technitian was getting made at me because Id move after each shock. I ask her if she had ever done this test on herself she replied no.About half way threw I would laugh .Its the only thing I could think to do. The tech ask if I wanted her to stop and I could come back another time.I said no just finish.
