UPDATED
High on my list is updating the phpBB (these forums) to the latest version and adding extra features like more emoji's maybe adding a like or dislike buttons although I think they would reduce the feedback to each post as most would just like or dislike and move on. Being a STRONG supporter of "See Something, Say Something and Silence Is Consent I hate to reduce feedback of any kind.

Note this post is more of a reminder for me to get off my ass and make this happen so do not hesitate to reply asking for updates on the upgrade! These days I am more forgetful than lazy lol

They have endless Extensions, Styles, Modifications for these forums so take a look around suggest something you like, as of this writing I have not looked at Extensions, Styles, Modifications in probably 8 years so am completely out of touch.

Installation, Extensions, Styles, Modifications WHO KNOWS maybe this will inspire YOU to setup your own forums like a family forum just for your friends and family, co workers. Heck my FIRST PO forums was built on a old desktop computer I installed a web server on and run from my home (Thanks Kiowa) until I was too busy to keep up with the security updates and the site grew to the point it was using a bunch of my monthly internet allowance from my ISP haha. Today I can probably run this entire site from home, I know a Raspberry Pi can handle the load, already tested it. Super simple there is step by step tutirials on the web you can pretty much cut and paste all the commands.
