Let me back up a little bit, I am now retire and entering a new phase of life, I been thinking about this for more than I decade, like an idiot I did NOT start Where Were You back then, but hey I was busy!

The entire concept will be, continue my road trips like in the past, organize ride trips, have gatherings like the OLD days, invite special guest on trips, change up the trips some will be with the Pilot, some with the 2010 RZR-S some will be with a 1970 VW Beetle that will be used to see all the places I have wanted to see in the past I could not drive too using my RZR.

I chose the name Were Were You? because historically when sending ride trip photos/videos to friends, most their comments had me saying "YEAH Where Were YOU!"

I have been following Russ at RVerTV https://www.youtube.com/@rvertv for a long time trying to get ideas, figure out camera equipment, editing, presentation etc. I will be doing this for profit, it will be a business, however my current goal is to just pay for my trips and maintenance cost of equipment maintaining my life long motto of "I am just needy I am not greedy" which has worked perfectly for me my entire life. I do not want a monster business I lose sleep over. Russ is getting into advertising now he has gained popularity, be sure to check out his older videos for the old Russ.

Everything I use on my trips is paid for, the BIGGEST expense on my trips is GASOLINE! All other expenses I have regardless if I am on a trip or not, on trips the extra cost is things like tolls, and GAS I camp on BLM land where it is FREE, food I have to buy if I am at home or on a trip, same with insurance/Plates on the RV and toys its a built in cost whether on a trip or setting at home.

I DO NOT want to get into selling things (both a pimp and whore) I rather take donations. Hence the concept of "Guest" on trips. In 2018 I tested the concept, a friend of 30+ years flew out to Vegas, I was parked in a Walmart parking lot a few miles from the airport, he took a Uber and with in 3 min was at my RV cost him like 4 bux. We went into Walmart so I cold restock, told him pick out what your going to eat for 7 days (he is a picky eater) then we headed for North West AZ and started riding for 7 days. WARNING to potential Guest! By time I got home from my 2018 trip west Pete had bought a new RXR 1000 he was addicted. Yeah he was all jacked up, he had never been to AZ before.
