Hoser now that you have the received the crank from nick p What are you recommendations

The crank Nick sent has issues too here is what I found, it has rust on it, looks like someone used a axe on the nut that came with it the nut is not even the right size maybe it was screwed on just to protect the threads in shipping? The area where the seal rides has a pretty deep groove in it this is damage from something not from wear the damage does not go all the way around.

Bottom line the crank needs the rod replaced at the very least.

You want me to send your old crank to speed or this one or both, I have another CR500 rod kit here in stock I could front you if you wanted both cranks rebuilt.

Wow I was under the impression it was in better shape. If you could send them both that would be great and I will order another rod kit and have it shipped directly to you

Both your crankshafts and two PRO-X CR500 rod kits shipped to Speedchaser scheduled for Saturday delivery.

One crank the rod will be left wide on the small end for the CR500, what is the intended use of the other crankshaft will it be a spare for the 500 Engine or used in a 400cc Engine, if used in the 400cc Engine the small end of the rod needs modified for 400cc use.

Check your PM

need to know what you want me to do with this crank that was welded

the other crank that was not welded looks to be in good shape
will press new crank rod pin in then weld because it will have the cr500 piston other wise I would not weld it

see other Post for more Info http://www.pilotodyssey.com/PO/viewtopic.php?f=46&t=11767

Thanks SpeedChaser
