Got a chance to do some jetting. With the old ATVR head my main jet was 180.
For my initial jetting for this new rebuild, I used a 182 main and clip in the bottom, it would not clean out on top end so I moved to 180 and clip in the middle or 3rd, still rich I went to 178 , its still a little rich at 178, If I open up air box it cleans out. I havnt done a long pull in full throttle for a full throttle plug chop yet because Im not done breaking in Engine however plug color does look good, a choclate brown at mid throttle. Looks like I will have to go with a 176 main, does a 176 for the main sound ok for my applidcation, I just didnt want to get too lean. My intake set up is two holes in air box about the size of the stock hose opening, ATVR pipe. Thanks
