I just purchased a pilot Hondaline front bumper. the stock plastic front skid plate doesn't seem to fit? the skid plate is hitting on the bottom mounting brackets where it bolts on, holding it away about an inch or so. my question is. Is there a different stock plastic skid plate for the hondaline front bumper? or does it use spacers to hold out the skid plate from hitting the mounting brackets?? or is it cut at the point where it hits the brackets?

Make one.
Go to the local machine shop and get some light gauge aluminum sheet. You can cut it with a skillsaw with a fine tooth blade. Wear safety glasses AND a face shield because fine bits of aluminum will be flying everywhere. Wear gloves. Make sure piece is clamped to the table. Don't hog the blade -- go slow.
Or you can use a jig saw. Same safety applies.
Make template out of cardboard.

Good tips. thanks.
It would be nice to find a OEM one but that maybe difficult or too expensive. I could make one. We have handy metal mart that would have what I need but I don't have any way to roll the edges around the sides of the bumper. I guess I could cut it out and have a fab shop roll the edges?

Depending on the thickness of the aluminum you are going to use you may be able to roll the edges yourself. You need a piece of pipe, lots of clamps. Clamp it to a heavy table and then just work it around the pipe by hand. I am thinking that anything over 18 gauge will probably be a bit to heavy to do by hand though. Not sure.

I have never tried that technique. Time to look at some youtube video's for ideas and techniques.
