2 Cylinders from Stoneman, one is a CW Racing 440cc the other is a stock Honda.

First we look at the stock Honda, its a nasty looking chunk of metal that resembles a Honda Pilot cylinder, head, reed cage, intake manifold, the cylinder is a litte rusty...

The head is damaged but repairable, looks like it chewed on some metal for a little while whilst waiting for the death blow.

I installed my OLD hone stones in my hone before attempting to clean up this cylinder.

The cylinder is full of deep grooves.

The cylinder is unported.

The bore measures 81.95mm or 3.226

I put the damaged head in the lathe and took a skim cut on the squish ban removing most the damage.

Then into hoser head holder #2 so I can clean up the bowl with sand paper then remove material off the gasket surface so I can tighten up the squish clearance.

After the lathe treatment I check the cc's then if ok to the lap plate for final hoser gasket surface treatment..

Looking at the finish on the cylinder it looks like the last time the cylinder was bored or honed they used a flapper wheel to finish it lmao

The head has suffered damage from a past POOFKABOOM I will not be machining the damage away on the squish because the damage is too deep and their is not enough material left in the head to clean it up, if the Stock Pilot Head Saver thing works out ok then this head will be a perfect candidate for conversion http://pilotodyssey.com/PO/viewforum.php?f=1
