Mudbogger picked up a Pilot Engine off evilbay, on the outside it looks like a clean, heck the cases are not stained with oil, grease, mud the plated items like the recoil housing nuts and bolts not tarnished or rusted, rubber and plastic items are in good shape.

On the bottom of the Engine wrote in black marker it says fast 33 race what ever that means..

Behind the recoil cover the usual dirt and mud no signs the oil seal is leaking.

Looking into the cooling system you see some rust and goop green residue.

With the intake off I found a stock reed cage with boyseen reeds installed, you can see in the pic where they cleaned up the castings, what you can see in this pic is about all they done, they did grind on the exhaust port a little but really made no changes.

The piston is on stock bore but both the cylinder and piston are plenty worn the cylinder will need bored to the first over bore.

Other than the usual foreign material from the Engine being removed from the Pilot and the intake and exhaust being opened up the bottom end is clean and extremely tight.

Typical rust found between the clutch and crank seal, I will pull the seal to see how far the rust had creeped into the inner lip of the seal.

The exhaust port is a mess and will require a lot of time and attention to correct it.
