New crank gets washed before oiled and installed, all new cranks are nasty dirty even though they are new.

Once the puller is assembled and ready to pull the crank into the bearing the crank is oiled so no galling can occur.

Slide the other case on a little ways gravity will work against you here and the case will self level like seen in the pics, I use TWO of the longest case screws to hold the cases and line them up whilst using the case puller to pull the crank in the bearing, sorta like the rubber bands keep the rod in place.

Now is a good time to set the Engine on a flat surface and not a rag you don't want something pinched between the cases

Pulled together.

NEVER even think of trying to pull the cases together using the case bolts, if you did your putting thrust loads on the balls of the bearings damaging them AGAIN the TWO bolts you seen in the pics were only to help line up the cases until they were close enough together the dowel pins took over and lined up the cases.

When using 2 of the long bolts their is not even and reason for the heads of the bolts to touch the cases.

Balancer installed, the TWO bolts and tabs that retain the balancer have to be clean and thread locker applied to the threads.

I am missing pics here but the O rings get installed on the crank then the crank seal then the gear that drives the balancer, the timing marks MUST be lined up as seen in the service manual...

The dowl pins are then installed and the gasket surfaces oiled just like the crank cases were.

The seal behind the recoil is greased before installing, the end of the crank gets thread locker so the nut cant fall off.

Once assembled crank it over a few times and feel the extra drag the balancer and seals have.

Plenty of oil inside from assembly..
