Ran fine yesterday, pullstart rope hanging out so i fixed that and went ahead and installed a Y head since it had the crappy straight fin 1 still on it. And then put all back together with new head gasket and wont start now, getting gas n has spark but wont start

Sounds like you need to check compression.

And check fuel pump flow as well. (4.5oz in ten seconds) approx
If you got spark it's gota be fuel so check the carb also.

Here is where im at, i have spark, even with priming will not fire. Rode fine yesterday b4 repairs. I have swapped coil, CDI (Capacitor Discharge Ignition), stator, checked flywheel key. I figured like always compression will fade. For piece of mind im having compression checked tomorrow.

Tap intake with some starting fluid to eliminate fuel problem.
