Does anybody have any secrets on getting this thing off? I have sprayed it with rust busters and several other things, heated it up and cussed it but so far nothing has worked. I have ruined three bolts in my puller set , I drilled the holes out and placed nuts on the back side I would know that way it was going to be a solid pull. My next step is to shoot it I guess (that would just make me feel better). Any ideas? Thanks Billy

Put some pb blaster on it, add pressure on it with your puller and heat with tension on it. If that doesn't work. Cuss it some more. Seriously though, if that dent get it you need to figure out how to get the penetrating oil to penetrate. If the trans is out lay it on it's side(driven up) and find a way to pool the penetrating oil over the top and let gravity do it's thing for a day or two. If it's still on the buggy you will have to get creative. I must have really lucked out. I pulled the bolt out and slid mine off with very little effort. When u do get it off never seize the shaft so this don't give you trouble in the future.

viewtopic.php?f=1&t=11366" ."..

I looked at how the guy drilled out the holes in the driven clutch. Is this a good way of doing it?
