Lol holy crap! That's a long time. I got my drivers license in 03  Was it kept indoors? Hopefully you don't run into other issues from sitting a decade. What made you hang on to it? Good to see your getting back in the saddle. Please post pics if you can.

well.. I started an ATV club in 2000 and I always wanted an Ody.. so I bought in 2002 or 2003.. and I replaced the stator pick up for some reason.. can't remeber now.. and it's been hard to start ever since.... I even replaced the pick up again.. no change..I would fiddle with it from time to time.. get frustrated.. and park it in the garage... I rode ATVs all the time and they were no problem.. so the ody sat ... and sat..... and sat.... then I sold everything back in 2007...(atvs , camper in West Virginia truck.. ) and tried different hobbies.. ATV club is still going strong btw...

Well.. we have bought a house at the coast.. and wife says.. that thing has got to go... as we plan our retirement in a few years to the coast.. and I had to get it running right to sell it.. and I have.. but I haven't completely put it back together yet.. she keeps me busy

I have gotten older and don't need to be banging my bones on the trails anymore.. so when I get it back together.. I might take it to WV one more time to really get some seat time in it.. then sell it

and that's the story.

I have the rear fenders out in the storage building. I took them off years ago because I didn't want them getting busted up on the trails (that I never took it on)

OK.. haven't ridden it yet, but she's running great.

and it's for sale.. $2,500. I will be putting on Ebay in a couple of weeks but will offer it here first.

I have replaced since I bought it, and not ridden it but twice in 10 years: very good condition, frame seat, and operations of everything works.

new battery this year OEM
new starter (and another starter in the box)
new brake shoes in front
new rear brake pads
new E. brake cable
new comet clutch and belt
rebuilt carb
new rear tires
original fuel tank as spare. I installed a bigger one.see in picture
rebuilt master cylinders and I think the rear caliper. flushed and adjusted all as needed.

probably more new stuff but I can't remember all I had replaced.
