Is it necessary to re torque the base and head nuts on a FL350 after it has been rebuilt and heat cycled?
All so do you use dino oil for break in or is it ok to use synthetic oil?

Yes it is necessary to retorque the base and head nuts.....

I'm not sure what dino oil is, but it is better to use a non synthetic oil when you are breaking in the Engine....

Dino is a term used to describe standard oil rather than synthetic. I think it's a slang term. Probably as in Dinosaur oil.

Also note: you need a torque wrench adapter to get the jug torqued correctly. If you have a service manual a pic of this should be in it. If you don't snag that freeby in the for sale section. It'll be the best tool in your box.
