What happened to this starter body(don't know the correct name of it)?
I took apart this starter and man was it scary...
Is it garbage?

it almost looks like it got some saltwater and sand mix in it.. did it still work?

I never checked to see if it worked! I just assumed it didn't because it was on a parts buggy I bought and was in bad condition.

The body is beat to crap by the armature I think... Not very round inside anymore...

ive got an old stock ody starter that has a bad commutator but the rest is good. well it needed brushes. been a while since i had it apart. if you want it you pay the shipping and its yours.
