Denuch sent this 350 Engine home with me at the Badlands ride, it was stored in a poor environment pretty much unprotected.

Here are some pics.

Stored in a bad environment???? The bottom of a well?

Sorry, that not real funny, lots of new parts coming. Cases should clean up. Is the crank going to be salvageable? Betting on bad pitting between main bearing races n crank. I would be interested in the empty cases if it gets parted out.

That looks awful! Yeah it was stored inside a barn. This is the Engine I couldn't get the jug off of. Glad I didn't. Looks nasty. My 94c came off this Engine. Really A shame. I believe it was in running condition when it was parked. It had been wrecked big time. It appeared to have landed on its nose, hard enough to push the left side front suspension back, then folded the upper cage on one side. Even bent the lower frame where the downtube bolts up. The kid I bought it off of was clueless. It was his uncles who passed away and it was given to him. Had definately been in the barn for a while. Kid was trying to start it but couldnt get it to do anything so he sold it.

Lol was it the car battery on the tire or where he cut the upper shock mounts to get the works shocks off it? Maybe the fuel tank that didnt even have a hose on it running to the carb that he topped off with straight gas to try to start it. LOL! He definately got dangerous when someone let him have a cutting torch in his hand. He sealed that machines fate when he cut the frame. I'd like to see those works shocks that he just had to keep. I never got to see them. Bet they were rusted out junk that needed rebuilt anyway.

Looks like it may have been stored in the outhouse. I guess the upside is that it's a motor (( Internal Combustion Engine ? )) I HAVEN'T blow to shit yet!
Waiting for the weather to cooperate... need another Pilot/Odyssey road trip!

Finally remembered to bring the camera in to get the pics off of lol

Finished this project up by selling Denuch a freshly rebuilt bottom end I already had in the shop Speedchaser had rebuilt the crank then I replaced all the bearings, seals, gaskets so it was ready to go.

Removed all the studs from the top of the cylinder so the cylinder could be bored to fit the new 80mm piston Denuch and so the top of the cylinder could be lapped to ensure it was flat.

Cylinder was then hoserized for more performance :-) Missing a bunch of the finished pics will have to see if they got mixed into another folder?

Who ever removed the exhaust manifold must have just put the wrench to these bolts and snapped them off if you take a hammer and HIT THE HEADS OF THE BOLTS with a good sharp smack BEFORE you try to remove them 99 times out of 100 they don't TWIST OFF!

Drilled out the bad bolts and replaced with new Honda bolts.

Hoserized the new piston, drilled the lube holes in the piston, went to install and discovered that wiseco sent the wrong wrist pin the pin they sent was TOO LONG it was 65.45 mm long the correct length is 56mm.

I got lucky I have a FL350 piston kit for another cylinder I bought to hoserize so I had to steal the correct length wrist pin out of that kit to finish assembling this Engine, not sure what to do now guess call wiseco see if they can send me the right length, go buy the correct pin?

Another reason why I hate wiseco cheap ass after market no attention to detail jackassery, its always something with their low quality junk.

Denuch showed up to pick up his Engine and we were going to install a DG? brand liquid cooled head but it was incomplete and not going to work so I just installed a OEM head off another FL350 Engine I have here so he could complete his project and until he got the liquid cooled head problems sorted out.

Will let Denuch tell the rest of the liquid cooled head story, think he was going to send to Speedchaser for some of his magic to be performed this would also be a good time for Speedchaser to copy the head and run a batch of them for the 350 guys :-)

It looked like a good setup was just missing some of the hardware required for us to install.

Also like to mention that the "wiseco top end gasket kit" part number W5471 only comes with a base gasket and a head gasket just like they list on the paper with the "kit" it does NOT come with the intake gasket or the exhaust manifold gasket like most if not ALL other "top end gasket kits" come with this is the FIRST time I have seen a top end kit come with just the cylinder and head gasket leave it to wiseco to screw me on the wrist pin and the gasket kit all on the same Engine.

Here is I think a pic of the DG head Denuch had but was missing the hardware looks like the head bolts were special like the FL250 used.

Yes I've been looking EVERYWHERE! I think I'm going to have my brother have a friends machine shop make "something" up and make it work!
