Hello,
I have an Oddy that produces 40 HP or better. Blew up the Powerbloc once I had it tuned.
What's the best clutch to use for a fairly warmed up motor (( Internal Combustion Engine ? )) that seems to be producing sooo much more power than before the mods.
Any idea on the best stall speed for general riding and tight trails.

Best clutch is the powerbloc. Less matinence and moving parts. Good stall is 4400. How did you get you hp numbers. Would love to see pics of your rig and list of mods. Welcome to the site.

Check out the broken clutch. I really don't understand why it gave up, seemed to be working fine up to that point.
I have had my ride for 10 years plus, spent alot of time/bucks and made many ashtrays with the 350 Engine.
The parts list for this one: Works shocks, Aluminum wheels, Exhaust gas & cylinder head temp guage, DG pipe, 38mm Mikuni flatslide, centered and match-ported intake manifold, modified/improved air intake system, Uni foam filter, V-force reeds, moderate porting in and out, and I modified a 500cc silencer/arrestor for it.
I am guessing on the HP but the last trip out, with new carb settings, had the thing digging two deep trenches. It had NEVER done it this way before. Been working on the jetting for a while, finally getting the power I was hoping for, the clutch gave up at that point.
So on the clutch, isn't powerbloc out of business? I have seen some NOS stuff show up on Ebay but was reluctant to buy, thinking I couldn't get replacment parts. Any one have sources for the power bloc stuff?

I don't have the experience with clutches others on here do so I wont be much help. I've never seen a clutch fracture like that though.

Was it modified in any way (backside relieved) or stock?

Do you want to sell what is left?

I have seen that before. Its from the belt wearing a groove in the face plate from idling too much. I bet the movable face has some deep grooves as well. Looking at your pic i can tell yiur clut h wasn't shifting all the way out either.

Just bought a NOS Power Bloc clutch on-line. It comes with the manuel for tuning. It will arrive on the 11th. I will attach some photos later once I have it back together

Got some days off starting tomorrow. I'll be breaking it down & can take pics along the way. Got the clutch on Ebay, priced similar to a 102c. (Member id vindication2011 | Feedback Score Of 130 | 100.0%) I think he may have 1 more. Still need to get some clutch lube coming along with some more Mikuni parts. I am looking forward to finally dialing it in. It has a Digitron guage, and along with plug checks, should be able to keep it alive.
