Hey guys, finally just picked up an odyssey. I've never had one before and I don't know much about them. It runs great but it seems like you have to really get the rpm's high for the thing to move. In reverse seems to be even worse. You have to stomp on the throttle for it to go back. Is this how they are? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks |

Welcome to the addiction.... Can you post some pictures of your oddysey particularly the Engine/ clutch? You may have a aftermarket clutch which engages at a higher rpm range. I have a comet 102c clutch in mine and it engages much higher than oem. Randy |

Welcome. Sounds like your belt maybe to long but not sure on that. Post pictures like suggested and what is the number of your belt? |

Check the width of the belt also, waiting on pics. |
