Afastcar sent his driven clutch for a CSI first thing to do is take it apart, using my home made tool I compress the top and remove the snap ring.

The clutch faces are in good shape

The grease was still good but this clutch was in need of servicing the grease in the grease grooves of the seals was dried out and mixing with dust. Everything was cleaned and fresh grease used.

The spring and spring guide was hoserized to reduce friction and ensure smooth operation, I painted the spring to slow future rusting...

I rebuilt my driven...I wish I would have thought to paint my new spring! |
