This may be a dumb question but I have never had one of these driven clutches apart. I need to add a spacer to take the larger sled Engine belt. My questions are.

1. Is the spring loaded?
2. What type of puller?
3. Do I need a puller for the pully part of the clutch as well as the front? And if so are they the same pullers?
4. What size spacer for the belt? I think 1 1/4 belt.
5. If I add a spacer will the snap ring still line up on the end of the shaft? Is there two slots? It seems I read there was two slots.
6. Any mods I can do to the driven now that will better for the 340 sled motor (( Internal Combustion Engine ? ))?

My project is a 1983 Fl250 and I swapped a 340 yamaha sled motor (( Internal Combustion Engine ? )).

Any tips info or what to expect would be really cool. Or any threads on this topic? I cannot seem to find any just members talking about adding spacers when doing this same swap.

Just put a spacer in between the clutch halves that's about 3/16 of an inch thick.
