Where to start on describing these adrenaline machines.... The Panther is the former buggy owned and raced by Ron Griffin. He ran it in the World Championships and in a few baja races. There are lots of little tweaks to this buggy since it was his personal buggy. I ran it over the whoops and really rutted roads and it ran so smooth. I was expecting it to be rough, but it was like a caddilac over the big bumps just sucking it up. I called Ron and told him I loved the suspension. He just laughed and had me send him some pics. This buggy is set up right and the 250
motor ((
Internal Combustion Engine ? )) runs great. I added a floor and set up quick release pins on the hood and side bars. I stripped the buggy down almost all the way and put it all back together making sure it was running great and safe as my 11 year old son is driving this one.
The
Briggsbuilt has a 350 motor (( Internal Combustion Engine ? )) and a case that will hold up to a 500 cylinder. Bob only made 10 of these models so it is a very special buggy. I strpped this down as well and went through everything and replaced everything that it needed and it runs like a wild banshee on fire hunting for a cool drink.
I bought a traile and set it up after stripping, priming and painting it and adding all the rigging and tool box.
Now, I am faced with the possibility of having to sell them or trade them. I have them posted on Craigslist so we will see what happens. If you are interested in these let me know. 847-692-6639 Here's a link to more pictures.
