Just got back from spending time up at Sand Hollow in Utah (outside of St. George). Met up with about 8-10 other people. They were having an event there so the first day was really busy. There are actually more jeeps/trucks then sxs. One or two other pilot/odys was all I saw. Was a mix of buggies. A couple pilots a 350 ody and then some stock and modified 250’s. Was a good time, trails were fun, small area with sand. Weather was nice (while I was up there). Some of the guys were members of the PO community the rest came from different FB pages. I had my top end re done by CW Racing and the Pilot ran great. Unfortunately both my front shocks took a dump. Here are some pictures. I will upload some short videos to YouTube and drop the links in case anyone is interested.

Here is a pic Of the parts that went on the pilot. CW racing port work, modified head, 38 PWK carb (not in picture) aftermarket reed stuffer, gaskets, piston (the OE piston dropped the ring pin and the rings rotated around and tore up the exhaust port) wrist pin and Needle bearing for the piston. It ran really
well, the temps were in the high 50’s-low 60’s. I will have to change out the pilot as it was slow to come back to idle as the temps rose.
The yellow buggy is CW racing old class 2 (I think). The black one is an earlier Briggs built originally raced by the Bogus brothers. I’m pretty sure I spelled that wrong. Anyway we are doing it again next year the spot to be determined though. We did have Karl come all the way out from Oklahoma.

WOW now that's a photo line up there with all those machines.
Nice hills with snow and a lake. Very nice.
Looks like everyone there takes pride in their vintage machine. Very nice.

Had a great time out there with you bob.
My pilot ran great and was very pleased with it as well as my recent purchase of that yellow Briggs roller.

Look forward to riding again next year.

Hope to see some more members out there with us.
Maybe we can get 15 machines out there next year.

Maybe Scott can have his going next year so he can do more riding that wrenching
