I don't actually have a tach hooked up currently on the 670 so It would only be a guess
I need to order the lead for the Digitron guage I'm using... (or just install a seporate Tach)

I believe I solved the overheat / coolant issue when I switch to a bigger DRAK radiator w/fan
Since replacing the seals, coolant has not showed up in the rotary valve oil reservoir.

I remember seeing some very high Water Temps when we were racing up the bluffs at
Killpecker, my guess is that I pushed water / oil seal out then or at least started a good leak...

Glad to see that problem is behind you, did you ever get the clutching and belt squared away, if I remember right the last time we were riding you had a belt that was too long and the input shaft was kinda iffy ?

Damn....too bad I missed this post! I live about 1.5 hrs from LS, OK and go there almost every chance I get...We'll have to schedule another ride! Until I get my Oddy back together I'll just have to take out the 350X.

I'll be ready to meet you at Little Sahara, OK in the fall. If you get you FL350 back together before then let me know and I would even take a summer trip to the dunes too, maybe well get lucky and pick a "not so hot" day...Marc

I go all the time! I work a week on week off so every other weekend I have off...so we usually try and ride somewhere and the dunes are a frequent trip

Camera is a Go-Pro. It's pretty small and comes in a water proof case. I just used the suction cup mount, but they come with quite a few. I paid $199 for my camera, and as nice as the quality is, it looks like crap next to the new HD version they are offering, lol. I am gonna sell the ones I have now and buy the new HD's before too long, they are amazing.

I was cutting corners to keep him in the frame, but i'm not gonna lie, you guys are flippin fast and I was having problems keeping up at all, lol.

I don't think I filled up before the run and had driven quite a bit before that. The tank only holds 7 and it wasn't empty when I got back. I think I either said something wrong or you heard something wrong because I don't think i've ever burned up that much gas no matter how hard I rode, lol....

The gas tanks on the Tigers are 3.5 gallons, in trying to stay out in front, I was burning quite a bit of gas, never ran out, but I was becoming a bit concerned. All in all, that was a great trip, wish I could do it again, but Ted is now in Boston, and the Tigers have gone on to a new home, spending much of their time up at St Anthony's in Idaho.

Good riding with all of you guys, maybe we will do it again sometime in the future.

Hey Marc, we're good, Ted's new job is totally different that the last, he is not flying right now, but having a good time in with the new challenges. He bought a Polaris 850 to explore New England with. I am fine also, I had rotator cuff surgery in Sept, and am well along the road to recovery.

BTW, Mark from Ponca City (lt500) bought a Drakart similar to 'ol blue, so you will have another one to chase. He is in the process of getting it up to his standards as it had a couple of things about it he didn't like. You may have seen it in past at Little Sahara, it has a red frame with a white body.

I will have a lot easier time running the trails with them in my new SXS, it was a lot of fun Halloween weekend. I have some pretty cool video running around the test track at Deuce's wild. My buddy recorded it on a hand held and my computer needs a converter downloaded to allow me to edit and upload it. I was taking a lot of people for test rides around that track and scaring the sh*t outta them, myself included. That thing is a handful, lol.

Running with you guys was definitely the most fun i've ever had out there and i'm looking forward to more like it.....
