I will be going to Dumont for Veteran's Day. Leaving Friday night (11-9) and coming back that Monday. So far, Halorising and Rppjr are talking about going. Hopefully a few more can make it. Will camp around the same area, by the rock pile and toilet 4. Hit me up!

I should be there. At work we had a guy get hurt over the weekend. Hopefully it wasn't anything to bad and he will be back in a couple days. If he ends up being out for awhile then they will divide his work amongst the rest of us and that might effect my weekend.

Cool man. Not about the injury, but cool you can make the next trip. We are going to camp in roughly the same spot.

Here are some videos of the weekend at Dumont. Some good riding.

The first one is a video of the Fox 2.0 shocks I installed earlier in the year. Thought it would be a cool video.

This is a video of Nickrnr jumping a dune. This one was a cool dune to jump, the landings were not bad as long as you came down straight.

In this video I think at the 45 second mark he pulls a nice wheelie off a small dune. He pulls it really well. If you pause the video and go frame by frame you can see his front bumper, then a little later I got to close to him and he sanded the hell out of me. LOL
I will post more as I upload them to youtube.
Enjoy

Those were some killer videos. Nick told me all about the trip while I towed his trailor home for him. He called me today at 3 oclock and said his tranny granaded in his truck. So I grab my keys and topped off the tank and frove out to barstow on a rescue mission. His truck he got towed home with AAA. Had a blast cruising home and hearing about the trip

It was a great time. He hauls ass through the dunes. No bent tie rods this time so I'm happy. He has some good video also. Maybe some side by side jumping video. Sucks about the transmission though.

Nice videos! I like how on your top video of the rear shock workin, you can see me as we jump tandum! I will spend some time this week and scan my videos and get them loaded up.

Yeah, blew my trans AGAIN on the way home! This trans lasted about 6 monhs. Guess it wasn't built right. Anyway, we had some great rides, zipped over to Little Dumont, did some sweet jumps, pulled some really nice wheelies, this one wheelie I was doing, I would approach a small 5 foot razorback nice and slow, then crest over it at a heavy angle and gun it. Rppjr said I would land on my right rear wheel, ride the wheelie for 5 feet or so, then my left rear would come down, and I would get another 15 to 20 feet before the front end came down. Will have to scan through my videos to see how it turned out, but onboard wheelie videos don't really look that great from what I recall.

Oh yeah, sorry for the sand shower Rppjr, but the video did look pretty sick! LOL

Big thanks to Shoubadaba for coming to my rescue, AAA wouldn't tow the trailer since I don't have trailer coverage. They charged me $25 just to get it off the freeway and go about a half mile to an open parking lot. I had them tow the truck to my Father in Law's shop, the wife and dogs hitched a ride home with my Mom and Brother in her truck, and I sat with my trailer for about an hour and a half waiting for Shoubadaba to come get me. Guess I will be workin on my tranny (no homo) this week.

This one is my point of view of the wheelie. Wish I could have ridden it a bit longer, but it was cool anyway.

last of my videos are up. here we go...

over at little dumont farting around, some nice jumps near the end of the video
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qFIK5iaA ... ature=plcp

My mom jumpin her stock rhino with Rppjr's 8 year old daughter in passenger seat
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5uv7FC-k ... ature=plcp

Title says it all here, gotta learn how to edit videos down
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZXQizbK- ... ature=plcp

Took tons of rear view footage, but problem was I couldnt reach camera to turn it on and off, so most of those videos are trash. I took 3 videos with it mounted in this location, so I could turn it on and off. I have since learned how to use my remote control and will be mounting it to the pilot's steering wheel and putting camera back on the rear of the pilot and starting/stopping whenever I want.
This video, there are some tandum jumps Rppjr and I did at little dumont, i tried to keep him in view of my left rear mirror, seemed to work ok.

This video, we were playing around at the little dunes, if you look at 3:24, Bob and I were drifting in some smooth soft stuff and he was in good view of my rear camera, and he hooked on something and almost rolled it over! Check out my reaction! Gotta love hand signals!

Bob took the lead in this video, pretty fun guy to follow, almost as fast as me! LOL
