It now sounds like a blacksmiths hammertime.
I'll do an air leak test,plug test,compression etc before dismantling, and the obligitory pics too of course.
Rocking the drive clutch back and forth,very loose,and with THAT bang bang sound.
Either broken crank or con rod my guess?
