I would love to make this. Yes... I see sand in my future, lots of sand and beer and cigars.

Does anybody know the towing laws for Oklahoma? I tow my camper and then my Pilot behind my camper, its legal in Tx so long as you don't exceed 65'.If you look at pic you can see trailer attached to camper

Oklahoma is 65' max triple tow, same as Texas.

Stewarts right down the road has whips/flags, with the spring mount. I have a trailer full if you need one to get you by til you get one there or whatever.

I think I'll just buy something off ebay or Rocky Mountain http://rockymountainatv.com
Is this the springy thing your talking about?

If Stewarts doesnt have whips then Little Sahara Sandsports should have them. I don't blame you wanting to come prepared. I bought a whip that was a 2 piece and it was 3/16" in diameter and it broke in no time. Just make sure you find one that is at least 5/16 to 3/8 in diameter. I have both and have not suffered them breaking. That spring looks ok, if you buy the spring seperatly make sure the diameter of the hole is the same as your whip diameter. Some whips come with the spring.

Yeah I read the reviews, some good some bad
From what I could gather if you had the pole mounted stiff it would break, but if it had a spring on it you'd be ok
Rocky m didn't have any poles over 1/4 " that I saw

Have you checked your local Honda shop? The one here sells them for 10 bucks and usually always has them in stock..

Stewarts has plenty, and they are a lifetime whip so if u break it they'll replace it.

I'll probably be near Waynoka late Sat night, ready to ride Sunday morning/early afternoon. Going to go straight to North Campground and try to secure some spots for us. EZ
