Well, we had an accident yesterday. All the buggys were tuned in pretty good, had a practice session (MUD!!!!!!!!) and during the first race a (VERY VERY BAD WORD...self edit lol) in a UTV hit Halorising mid-air on the first table top and forced him off the track and he hit a light pole in his Drak. Broke his left knee in at least 3 spots, went to the hospital, they sent him home????????? Guess he is having surgery tomorrow.

Wow that sucks I wish Halorising a speedy recovery, I assume you guys helped get his Drakart back home while he was getting treatment?

Looks like the Drakart will need some surgery also, chop cut rebuild then race again  maybe I should create a "Halorising Drakart" section in Projects so he can document.

Hopefully the new shocks were not damaged.

Light pole did not have a hay bale or some kind of barrier around it?

How was the rest of the race day?

I had Halo call his wife from my cell, I went and got his cell from his RV, swapped phones with him, then got his stuff loaded up, pilot and drak on the trailer, gear in the RV, and I drove his rig to his house as shoubadaba's wife followed and then brought me back to the track. Got his stuff taken care of. I never found out who the guy was who hit him, I was more concerned with straightening out his stuff best I could.

After he physially recovers, we can pitch in and help the recovery of his drak. Might look in to seeing if shoubadaba's cousin can build a new chassis, he used to build sandrails and I am sure he could do something, maybe build it to some custom specs for Halo.
