We survived, Feds 350 ran pretty darned well, elitespecialkids 350 ran way rich all day causing climbing issues, rzr was fun too. Even did some trail rides in the rough mountain terrain in it. Dunes are 8500 ft and rough trails were higher. I lost a balancer side bearing in the BV400/350 before we left so I didn't take it.I was going to swap a new Engine in but crushed the tip of my finger Sat....its still black n puffy(like Baz after a walk about???) Lmao

I have heard about that RZR. It is his buddy's that thinks it is faster than any FL350 out there. Ok Nuke Em, you need to lay some money out for a bet. There is no friggin way that thing will beat anything you have!

Looks like you all had fun. Sweet.

I ran over a screwdriver in the sand when parking so had flat to change before I left. Ran intoa fella my age who had his daughter in his 350 odyssey he bought new and used for 1 year before storing in a garage. Thing was beautiful and still looked new.

Just got back from the doc, burned a hole thru the finger nail, lots of spurting blood but pressure pain is gone....woohoo!!!!

Rusty, fun place to hang out. Elk camp is is 25 miles straight across the valley. Nick, its an 800 rzr, but he is getting a 900 rzr too. He doesn't stand a chance without a turbo kit. Beastie should beat that too.

Cool pic Nukem! This is Walden, CO? Again I'm wondering why I live here in the corn.
Finger looks fun! Your spoiled with the doctor treatment. Sewing needle and the stove is the home remedy. Where's the wife when you need her? Lol
Get the well all fixed up?

Damn Gary

You sure have a way of making that place look bigger than it is...

I remember each of those trials...

The one from the hill top winding down was narrow (surprised you could get a 4 seat RZR thru there) and full
of rocks the last time I took it with the bike - It sucked as the rocks slid under you almost the entire way down
made for one hell-of-a ride, plus there was this huge tree blocking the trail near the stream at the bottom
I don't know if a rzr would have cleared it as I was airborne on the bike just to get over it.

What no pictures of the cabin ?

Does look like fun thou...
You up for a fall trip to LS ?

Later
Dennis

Hi Dennis, LS group ride sounds great. 10 hrs to LS or 10 hrs to St Anthony, just wish you guys lived closer. Trails were rough still, barely survived. Lol He put the Robbie Gordon edition skid plates to the test and scratched the rims too. Hard to snap pictures while hanging on for dear life! Lol.
Meeting a few guys at Killpecker in a couple of weekends if you are interested. Want me to taunt you with more grilling elk pics??? Lol. I grilled at Walden too. Pork burgers, brat burgers, elk steaks, chicken boobs n pork riblets...dog got the leftovers.

Hi Fatcat, finger is 1000% better now. Wife videos the bloody carnage for me. Lol I really did want to do it myself. Well is fixed now...what a mess that was. Come visit anytime, corn is nice, rocky mountains are better. Lol

Oh man, the finger looks bad! I smashed mine once, but not that bad. I was pulling the drive shaft on my old '70 Plymouth Duster and the U-Joint was stuck to the rear end, so like a dummy, I wrapped my hands around the end of the shaft (insert gay joke here lol) and yanked (again... gay joke...) and only one side of the U-Joint came free, so it pivoted on the stuck side and smashed my middle finger nail. It puffed up pretty good, and to relieve pressure I used a drill bit in my dremel and drilled most of the way through the nail, then took a needle, heated it up on the stove, and poked it through the shallow spot where I drilled. It squirted all over the place (damn it....I'm just not gonna say it).

Any way, that trip looked like lots of fun. Sucks about the truck tire. And nice plug about the elk hunting grounds!!! I'm really itchin' to kill something. So is the wife. She keeps asking if we can go coyote hunting, but it is still a bit too hot.

Those trails look like much fun. I s this the place? http://www.riderplanet-usa.com/atv/trai ... e_589e.htm If so it says 10 miles of trails and no fees, at least for now  Looks like some good technical trail ridin then the dunes to break up the trail riding, are there any bowls to ride around like LS Oklahoma?

I personally would not run the Ody/Pilots on the rough mountain trails but there are several on the south end that are much better for that type wooded riding. No real bowls, lots of very steep climbs out of the drainages and some decent open areas. Elevation is 8500+ so jetting change is a must coming from Oklahoma area. It really is not that big, better off going farther over like Killpecker Dunes Wy, LS Utah, or St Anthony. Walden is only 1.5 hours from me so its more of a day trip place to play.
