We ( me,denuch, maybe cobra rep and a few other friends) are probably going riding at the badlands Sept 6,7.8 pending a phone call from the campground for available sites( willpost when i know whats available) They also have extended hours this weekend to ride till 9pm. Anyone interested? Chime in!

I have space #10, same as last time.
Will head out Friday evening with my son.
Wife and daughter will come out Saturday morning (daughter is playing in the high school band).

Not sure on the TREC race.
Supposed to start at 10am for the SXS.
SXS and trucks are separated for the first time (that's good)
That means the race will be a tight loop in the pit and SUV area or the park will be closed.
Not sure how they are going to do this.

I figure even if the TREC race is a bust I get to ride.
It's all good.

Lee, I'm sorry I thought I read that you were going on Labor Day the previous weekend! We won't be there until late fri or early sat staying till sun night? Maybe sun afternoon! Is there a tree race everyday that weekend? Thanks, randy

How much of the weekend will they be racing? Will we still be able to ride while the race is going?

The TRC race is supposed to be happening in the pit and the SUV area that we are not allowed in to normally.
Therefore there should be no impact to us except for a crowd of people watching from the road by the store.
The truck race is after the park closes, so watching it is a bonus.

I have the Pilot from work checked out.
Been working on the rear brakes on the truck (first real repair since I bought the thing in '04).
Wife has teriyaki sauce (my Moms home recipe) ready for some flank steak (Cow is home made by my wife).

My goal is to see the TREC race.
If the Odyssey can compete (as in I will not get run over and killed) I would like to run next year.
However they are changing the format of the TREC races, they are getting away from the endurance course and doing more of a go roundy thing.
I think the old format would have been my preference.

So who else is in?
