I'd love to trail this course on my rzr some day. Kinda like Hoser did on the Parker course once (unless my memory fails). Does anyone have any idea if this was ran on public ground or Private ground? Maybe little of both?

I have run all the same trails they use to make the Mint 400 race course, you can too, its all on BLM land you can pull off and camp any where you want in the desert then pretty much ride any where you want long as its off road and on established trails.

Take a look at the race map the start map is by Jean NV you can over lay the map over the terrain map in Google Earth if you like.
http://themint400.com/2014/03/2014-mint-400-race-map/

Search around the web you can find the GPS files to load in Google Earth to check it out.

You can also park and camp at the Eldorado Dry Lake Bed just South of Henderson NV then ride over the mountains on the power line road to Jean NV side of the mountains and hit all the trails and race courses they have in the area South of Vegas, they all use about the same trails just make up different variations of the same place.

I attached one file here that is from the dry lake to Jean over the mountains, I have many others of the area like one trip I made from the dry lake and rode all the way into CA about 10 miles.

You can open it in Google Earth to view.

I have rode the Vegas area quite a bit, the South side from Vegas to CA border and beyond and RT15 East to the CO river, even rode a little on the West side of 15 will return to that area some day in the future and ride to and through Death Valley, also have rode the North side a little by Nellis Dunes then about 70 miles West of Vegas in the Armogosa valley and dunes.

ALL of the above sounds like such an adventure. Every time I do one I immediately start thinking about the next. We really MUST all stay in touch on these rides. Speaking for myself, work is always pulling of course, but life is so short, and these rides are so much fun.
I'm very blessed with a somewhat flexible work schedule and a very understanding wife and family. Would love a chance to meet up somewhere.
