Finally got some woohoo time in the FL800 at Hedley Park,Byford, bout 45 mins drive S of my place.
This is the 3rd heat, but 1st time for me due to all the bad luck crap of USA parts buying probs, posting probs, and total incompetence of a lot of sellers.
Anyway, this is a MX track, hase'nt been graded or watered for yonks.Pretty rough, rutted, with a couple of tight hairpin bends and long stuttering whoops that had me fug'd.
So took it easy over them, while others easily took em over. :-)
Still had mega understeer probs, and still not able to lock up the rear brakes for skid steer.
But STILL had a ball trying to control the uncontrollable. :-)
Temps were in the low 90'sF

Here's a vid-Phantom Quad-from one of our talented members Andrew.
Matty this vid will compliment my HellCam vid you watched.
Really wish he was around with us in the Northam Speedway days.

Great vid!
Looked like a beautiful day.
I saw where the pilot pushed in some of the turns, but some looked really good to.
Boy those SxS look really high centered!
Howd the trophy kart go? Looked like he was shifting?
You guys have no shortage of dust that's for sure!
Congrats on getting a ride in.

That Pilot looks bad a $$. Appears to have more power than the suspension can handle. Looks like you're way faster in a straight line than any of those other rigs. Why was everyone except the one rzr lifting up on the table top?

Thanks guys.
Bull the Trophy cart goes well(TOO well) :-) ,yes it's a shifter,I think it's only a 450?
Great steering and suspension.
The owner driver imports them in,name Steve.
Temps were in the 90'sF,lucky to have the Easterly blowin' too.Mid summer now.
That's our inland to sea wind, otherwise the dust woulda blown all over into the race control, pits areas.
Near the end,the easterlies stopped, went calm a bit, then the westerly sea breeze came in.

Halo, yeah fun track, was first timer there,so a lot for me to learn till I can get jiggy with it.
That tabletop is pretty good, great approach-launch angles.I'll be hittin' it harder next time.
I think the wind was put up a little into the members there after last event there, when Fugly(Doug),came a cropper real bad!
Think he has a Maveric? He was wearing a neck brace too,but still suffered some neck pain days-weeks later.
The cropper was'nt caught on vid(go figure) Did a lot of damage to machine and lucky not worse to himself.

Anyway, here's my first hellcam vid, does't compare to Andrew's Phantom setup.
Runs short because you'll see at the end where I run off the hairpin,my strapon  Viosports camera unit slips down my leg and turns off.
AND yes that's the ONLY strapon device I wear.............................At the track anyway! :-)
