We'll have to hide some eggs in the sand. Leaving tomorrow morning. I hope the new RV computer holds up, it has the same part number as the old computer but Winnebago has a habit of modifying and/or making parts that don't necessarely go on a P30 chassis, did ok driving around the block a few times. Dang I know Im gonna forget something just wont know until I get there. Wishing everyone a safe trip and may the force be with you.

The taz car is running well. So far I have lawn darted my pilot and Darrel has rolled his. I have some onboard video of the lawn dart but none of the roll over. The only carnage is two tires blown off the bead and a smashed front bumper/ skid plate.

Glad the Taz is running well, does Marc like it? I bet Darrel's neck is really sore now if he rolled his pilot, wonder if we will see a for sale sign in the future? Sorry to hear about your mishap, tell Stix I want to see some video of him getting some big air in the spaz car :-)

Good video stix, fun to relive the ride back here in the real world. Too bad the Tazcar had trouble keeping up, especially in those tight turns. :-)

No it felt better for a day then back to the norm . Shot didn't help . But I will tell you this
Neck roll helps like the one ez posted earlier . If I didn't have one on it would have hurt bad .
Rolled it 2 12 times side to side . Each time I came up I thought I would be right side up then another roll . The on the lid just like that . Lol yep it sucked .
Need a pilot fender if anyone has one they don't want a left nut for . Right side .

I am really impressed with the rotax conversion that Chris v has it did over heat and started detonating
By itself first time I ever seen that I think he had it shut down by pulling pre filter and putting hand over intake . I thought it was going to melt down right there . Seemed to get it shut off in time the rest of the time it runs like a bat of hell . We need to put a parasail on that he could lawn dart from dune to dune . :-)
Ez made some good runs I think he drives like that in his line of profession all the time it's balls to the wall . They call me granny .

And the razz make tazz of marks is sweet . If I was going to dump that kind of money on a buggy it would be on that not a piece of crap razor . It is a nice rig .

I even tuned a little on the oddy it is running better than it ever has needs more outta the bottom end though . Smoothe and fluffy sand was a good time.

Heres the one I was telling you about, with a little gorilla glue it could be better than the one on there now

Did the Taz ever get above idle?

You know the redline is like 13k or something?

Let it breath man! :-)

Its clutched to 9k and stays there most of the time. Im guessing 12k redline, not a "red line" on the tack but it maxes out at 12k. Anyway before I ran outta room I was able to let it breathe! a bit by South entrance where the drags are. GPS said 72, speedo says 77, I didnt get to see where tack was cause too busy looking at the road in front, lots of little hills and burms to avoid. Anyways Tazz seems to run half throttle when following Pilots and that's not because the pilot of the Pilot is not rockin, any faster and you will be "piloting" the Pilot/Taz over a bowl or hittin trees in trails. Plenty of power in a cr500 powerplant Pilot at Little Sahara, I found myself pinning the throttle most of the time with a stock or piped 400 when climbing around bowls, had to let off throttle more so with the CR500 pilot and Taz. I might need to do something with protection to the CV boots, one ripped when wifey got it buried in the sand so i had to do some Mr Goodwrenching at the dunes cleaning CV's and replace a boot. The whole trip was great with the food, beer, fires, food, sand, friends, the knats really sucked, they were biting me & Chris. Whatever Ill be there again soon with the Off!

It seams to me I missed out on some fun times for sure. Sorry I could not make it out for a day ride. It was good to hear and see the video as I have had no seat time for a while. I should be able to get wrenching soon for the next ride. Sound to me as you all need to do a little wrenching your selves. Thanks for sharing the ride reports and video.
