Yea I will need that too, it will make turning the T-bone over easier.
Good grief.

Well maybe the trip will be good with first tornado out of the way.
Moore hit again unbelievable. Looks like we are going to be in for a
super fun spring.

not 100% sure but the liner was cracked at all three of the narrow exhaust ports. all galling was on the exhaust side.

I sent the cylinder and piston to http://www.bdtmotorsports.com/ to be resleeved

if you look carefully at the left side of the exhaust port you can see the cracked sleeve. the middle and the right side are also cracked. im not sure of the cause of the cracks, but my guess is that this caused the galling. you can also see the flaked nikasil liner. that is a 76.XX mm piston with a 72mm stroke

i was not at full throttle and not beating on it. about 5 minutes into the ride after a 5 minute warm up

Who built that cylinder?

Nikasil coated iron liner?

yes, fairly common in big bore 250r stuff.

the whole Engine was built by FTZ racing.

carlos could not get my cylinder done by the ride so I bought a used (new bore) esr power valve seet up from him. I should have it Monday.

I kinda hated to go down in CC's but I want it ready for the ride.
