As requested by Kuma, here's the start to this trips thread. All is open, suggestions for camp location, pot luck turkey meals? Strippers wearing a beak and turkey feet shoes?

Westecbuilder and a few others have also confirmed. Hopefully the sand is as nice as it was last year. Less than 2 weeks away. Gonna be fun.

That would be nice! And hopefully Doug can get his pilot top end back together and broken in by then. I went up to his house Sunday and helped him pull it apart (from when he lost compression LAST Thanksgiving trip lol, still hasn't fixed it!) and found stuck rings, a pitted dome, and a few other problems. We concluded it only needed a top end, hopefully it gets done in time. If not, guess he'll be riding one of his 4 ATC 250Rs.

Well, at least KUMA hasn't moved to the DARK SIDE---- nick! he still has his pilot. I went to the shop that Rusty recommended. His book showed discontinued Wiesco piston in 81.5 size. SO, I came here to PilotOdyssey for help & "you all" ( you know who you are) showed why this forum shall luxuriate.

Dang. 250R it is I guess. I thought I saw a 81.5 on ebay, but I'd have to look again.

So I came into work today, try to save a vacation day, I'm thinking that I'm going to take next Monday off and head out to Glamis on Friday, drive home Monday morning to avoid traffic, I know the sand will be beat to shit but oh well.
