I tried this place out Saturday with the Pilot, DRZ and a Yamahaha Grizzly. Was a great time. It is only 400 acres but if it was flattened out it would be closer to 1000, it's the upest and downest land land I've ever been to! The trails were pilot friendly, well most were, except the many 38 point turns in the really tight stuff. On a quad it's ideal but we all know the turning radius of the pilot, a little worse than a semi pulling a 45' trailer! :-( The day we went it was about 25 degrees when we started out, good thing since it was obvious that the place would have been a mud pit on a warm day noticing that 50% of the trails had ruts 8 to 12" deep. The owner of the place is into 4x4 jeeps and originally built the place for that and then said he thought of the idea to add a quad/motorcycle area, prolly for revenue. It was a very well thought out place, the 400 acres, quoted as "The largest 400 acres you will ever ride on", was on the out side of another 900 used exclusively for 4x4 jeeps, trucks and SUV's. Let me stress, "There is no high speed anything here!" it's all slow with a couple of "up to 30mph" spots but none the less a lot of fun. I wouldn't recommend driving more than a few hours for it unless you also like to do the 4x4 truck thingie. But if your within a few hours of this place it's a riot with some of the steepest hills I've ever ridden up in a pilot, where the front wheels lift very easy whilst (Stoner, 25 cents!) going up them. This place is no place for a motorcycle, your tires would constantly get caught up in the ruts which were two ruts quad tire width apart up to 12" deep everywhere, not a good motorcycle combo! Not for me atleast. They have a office/store/food spot where they sell movies (some big 4x4 get together at the park) and some food. The park was very well kept up not to mention new! The gal in the office was very nice and very pleasing on the eyes I might add!

I have some pics but none from the trails, was too lazy and the trees were too dense to get a good shot!

I went to the site and noticed that they have three 'extreme rock crawling' events scheduled. I guess that is an indication of what the trails are like? How would you rate it compared to St Joe's?
