i live so close i will leave the dates up to the ones that have to travel the longest distance. Except i can not make June 25, 26, 27 - family reunion that i have been instructed that i would not miss.

I look forward to meet as many as possible

Hoser, litespeed and myself have been talking about going the week of April 19 or week of April 26. Speedy and I still have to get our machines back together. Hoser, is of course all rebuilt and ready to go.

The weather was spotty, but lots of good riding.

I got there late Sunday nite, Hoser and Lightspeed beat me by a little, and already had camp set-up.

I had a problem with the Drak not revving up. After a few minutes of tinkering by Hoser and Litespeed, I had a different distributor on it and it was running great. Thanks again guys!!

We rode for four days, don't know how many miles, but lots. Wiggins and his buddy Richard showed up on Tuesday, and Oldmayody on Thursday.

Hoser and Litespeed each used about 20 or 30 gallons of gas, I brought ten gallons and used most of it, the Drak is really stingy on gas (Geo metro Engine with a turbo).

Hoser took a ton of video, it is awsome, you all gotta see it!!

We got up on Friday morning, it was raining and forcast to continue, so we packed up and came home. Wiggins and his buddy were planning to stay the weekend.

The way I have the clutching on my Drak, the Engine will only turn 4,500 rpms. Maybe after I put the Sprint motor (( Internal Combustion Engine ? )) in it, I might let it rev a bit more. With the turbo geo, there have been enough problems without over revving it. The original Engine had a hot cam in it, I think it was the source of some of the problems with the turbo. On the Engine in it now, it is not having the same problems of cutting out. Come to think of it, it is not having overheating problems either.

you all missed some real fun riding on friday evening.

want to say a BIG THANKS!! again from Richard and myself for all the help Hoser, Litespeed and Drakman gave us.

I missed you guys. I was there the 15-18th for the Annual Snake Hunt. Sand was fantastic on the 18th as many left & the high wind really smoothed & shaped the dunes up nicely. Wish I could have stayed longer...................... as usual.

Cool, I wonder how old that photo is, neither North or Cowboy campgrounds exist. Looks like a dirt road into what is now the north campground.

Actually the North does exit but Cowboy doesn't...

I believe it was taken before they put the showers up in the North Camp Ground

Sure got me jones-ing to go ridding now......

Thanks (OH HUM)
