This is a on/off road motorcycle ride, they have it two ways mostly street or mostly trails both need a street legal motorcycle (an enduro bike would be fine)

The Quarry Run D/S is a challenging event. More of a trail ride. The Blue Stone region of the Catskill Mountains lends itself to fantastic riding trail and road riding opportunities.

The event is lightly marked, you will need a route sheet and odometer.

The Quarry Run is a two day event, averaging 100 miles per day. You can ride as much or as little as you like. The Catskill Mountain region lends itself to fantastic riding opportunities, so our event is generally more of a trail ride than pure Dual Sport. If you ride a large adventure style motorcycle, are a beginner, or just prefer nice dirt roads you may have more fun on our adventure ride. A hearty lunch is supplied Saturday on the course route and Sunday after the ride the Hancock Fire Depatment serves their world famous roasted chicken free of charge.
