I drive an 18 wheeler, so I park off of the lenwood road exit behind the outlet center! I have Showers and meals within walking distance! A short ride to the main area too...

Sorry Bud!!! I saw a big array on the way to China Lake the other day! Is that one you worked on??? it was north of kramers corner... Good riding spots out there also, just not conviences like here!!! If you are off Saturday, come to Glen Helen's race track and give me a hand! I am going to Race... well just follow the rest of the field lol Since I am mostly stock... Should be fun anyways!!! I don't plan on loading out till next week, just need some down time!!!

For those who couldn't make it!!! LOL this is just the first day, didn't venture far from the truck, and still trying to figure out where the compression setting needs to be on these shocks! It has been a while since I have been on such awsome whoops!

Nope, I think that array is part Edwards or are you talking about the mirror collector array on the NW corner of Kramers corner?

Most all of the areas near China Lake are closed to off-road traffic thanks to the bitch Feinstein, she closed millions of acres in CA. For 10 years my favorite spot was 20 miles north of Kramers corner, turn right and go about 35 miles off-road to an area enclosed on 2 sides by the base. On a 4 day weekend you might see one other off-roader, it was great!

it might have been a mirror array? They were all facing the west, and they were on the NW corner of kramers! I only went to ridgecrest, didn't go on base!
I am not sure what time of day it will be... There is a post in this section that has some nfo... I am going to try to get there early Friday, and get the big rig parked before everyone else shows up so I am not in the way!

I saw signs, and tons of roads that I doubt anyone would have found me on if I got lost! it's a crying shame they close this area, nothing or no one uses it for anything else... no cattle, sheep or goats would survive there, and "hikers" won't get far...

OK Here are my plans... I am leaving tomorrow to go to Glen Helen! I want to get in as soon as possible to get a parking spot out of the way, and practice this short course stuff... Only been on a track once that had smooth jumps, and some of these will flip you! Ask Rusty! LOL So After the race Saturday, I will come back to Barstow, UNLESS someone knows the trails down closer to San Bernie??? I have seen them but don't know my way around them! I have a Load to pick up in Wilmington Monday Morning, So Sunday is the last day for this trip!!!
