The Ohio GNCC is getting closer. Keep your Saturday, October 9 open. Trying to get an idea of how many Pilots I have to whoop ass on......AGAIN.

I see that afastcar has all of his Pilots listed for sale so I guess he will not make it. Therefore, I just picked up another Pilot racer to join the race. So let me start the count.

Trackside - the infamous undefeated nbr ZERO
Trackside wife - in training and consistently getting faster
Nick - newbie who moved off of an ATV and into a cage

For those of you just getting into GNCC racing, post your questions and I can answer them. You don't need any special tires, fire gear, nets, nerf bars or other high dollar items. Just a helmet, long sleeves, goggles, tires that hold air and a free Saturday. It is a race that does not require a beefed up Pilot or any special mods. The track at St Clairsville is fairly fast, had some mud sections in the past and some decent woods with some tight areas and some open areas. Great for a first time race. Go here to see some of the track on youtube from lastyear.

I have retired from GNCC racing. I am now an asphalt racer... so all you guys I crushed at the last GNCC don't have to be scared of being embarrassed by the #5 Pilot. Trackside only wins races that I let him win or because he was going so slow he was the only one not to bust a tire.
Will trade 2 pilots for Mini cup car and box trailer....

Stoneman - I will race in Ohio on two conditions. 1. If you bring a slab of beef and cook it... I will Be there!!!!
2. If Mikey1234 gets his rear camera working. I will follow him until the white flag. The video can then be used to demonstrate how to win a GNCC on a Pilot.
Hare and Trackside can study this video to try to figure out how to beat me in Indiana after I win my 2nd Straight GNCC in Ohio!!!
ALL you guys that are coming need to plan on Staying Saturday night. Its going to be a PARTY!!!

I'm planning on being there. But first I need to finish building my nerf bars and rebuild my Engine that blew up last weekend...damn that's not a lot of time.

put a GUY on one trophy and let him be the only one that didnt get lost and it goes right to his head. I notice your not refering much to the race where you had tweety birds flying around your head after a high speed endo.

You never know Pilotguy5 a DNF or two from mikey and me and you might be have something worth going to the banquet for.

For the most part, it is just a Saturday thing. Our race starts Saturday at 4 pm. Still, only coming from Dayton, it is close to you. Come on out. Many of us will get there on Friday and leave on Sunday. Others will arrive Saturday and leave Saturday. Either way, we all park together and have a good time.

Hare - All I need from you and Mickey is to DNF in the Last two races and I have a shot at a top 3 finish in points... The best part of GNCC Pilot races is watching you and Mickey battle it out for the first 500 yards of the race. As for the High speed endo...
If you don't endo at least once in a GNCC you are going too slow....
This race Its Checkers or Wrecker for the number 5 Pilot.

Cool, no need to bring anything unless rain is expected. Maybe a good umbrella and a pair of boots. As for food, we will all have plenty extras and there are good vendors on site if you get hungry while watching the race. You can find us all parked together. Go into the front gate, stay strait till the gravel road takes a hard RIGHT, then go all the way to the back. It is the area where the START was for 2008 and 2009.

figured i would cut down on the excuse list in case somebody's skirt is blowing up in their face.

The Directions: EASY to get to, The race is right off I-70 exit 213, CLOSE TO EVERYBODY!

Located at Exit 213 off Ohio I-70. Take Route 331 N. just a few yards and make a right onto Hammond Rd for approximately 1 mile. Then left at Lee Road for another one-half mile. Track is on the right. Track is roughly 15 miles west of Wheeling, WV

The Weather: It will be beautiful, could not ask for a nicer forcast.

Thu Oct 07 Partly Cloudy 64°/44° 10 %

Fri Oct 08 Sunny 67°/45° 0 %

Sat Oct 09 Sunny 65°/46° 0 %

Sun Oct 10 Sunny 67°/49° 0 %

The Wife and Kids: either bring them along to race or pit or just tell them how much happier they and you will be upon your return refreshed from a brisk buggy drive which may yeild a trophy or a flat tire or both, but certainly not fiery wreckage marshmellow toasting stuff.

The Boss: You have a contagious virus of some sorts but the doc said it should be non contagious by monday, tuesday at the latest but there will be some mussle and joint stiffness.

The Yourself: Come On, You deserve this, you do. What the hell did you buy the thing for if not to ride it? did i mention Com'onnnn... Com'onnnn

Sadly I don't think I will be able to make this race, as I still don't have an Engine for my buggy. If I end up with nothing else going on I might come watch though. If the track is anything like last year's it will be super fun and the weather is looking good so I encourage anyone who is on the fence about this to get out there and race.

I would like to ask ALL of the Pilot racers who have gotten free transponders for a favor.
As a show of appreciation to Kirk for not charging us for transponders can you Please bring a case of Yuengling beer to Ohio. If it is not available in your area please let me know and I will pick it up for you. The beer is for Kirk not me. Yuengling is not available in his part of the world (bf ohio). Thank You....
Then after I win the race saturday we can drink a beer with Kirk

haha reading this just makes me sick. Keep GNCC alive for us. Next year will be the rise of team sunblock muhahahaha!

I haven't kept up with GNCC much this season since I sat it out .. Are we still pretty friendly on the rules? I would like to race my Drak maybe .. if I can make it more mud friendly ..

How do the Pilots stack up against the UTVs? I'm nervous about being the slowest thing on the track
