This info was posted on an atv club page that I am part of. Figured I would post it here for the other east coast guys. They let the side by sides play, pretty sure they would let the pilots/odys play. If there is any interest, I will call to make 100% sure. Walden mx track is up near the Newburgh bridge/airport area of NY.

Mud & Sno??? IDK but we are getting together again for a fun day of low pressure race/riding so get an envelope & stamp in the mail ASAP!!!

12-18-10 WaldenMX Mud & Sno Scrambles is ON!!!

Same classes, same schedule as last winter, cold weather, snow??? Lets hope so!!!

We are going to be open & racing unless we are underwater so dress right, prep for whatever Mother Nature is planning & bring a friend!

Open bike! Open quad! Side by sides welcome! Open tire in all classes. Basic safety gear, helmet, eye protection, gloves, boots.

MX quad rules for tethers, nets, etc... DO NOT APPLY to our cross country events!!!

Pre-registration is a good idea, especially if its going to be knobby tire friendly!!! The MXers are waking from hibernation & want to ride too!

A note with your class, (bike "B", under 12, ATV "C" for example) and a check or MO made to WPMC for $30 mailed to

WaldenMX
c/o Jim Economou
336 Skyline Lakes Dr.
Ringwood, NJ 07456

will secure the 80 spots per session, (kids, bike, quad), first in, first taken!!! I'll post if/when it fills up! You can chance it & pay when you arive but if we fill up, we are done, plan ahead! If it gets cancelled or you can't make it, PM me & I will destroy your check, no problem.

I will again TRY to give an accurate, day before ground report but many already know what that is worth! Use your judgment for tires etc...

Rider #s on decals will be supplied & assigned at sign in and will be applied to the left or right chinbar/side of your helmet. Be ready to be on the line 15 minutes BEFORE the scheduled race times. When the clock hits our start time the flag DROPS!!!

EVENT SCHEDULE!!!!

Kids bike/quad classes at 9:00-10-30

Adult bikes, A, B, C at 11:00-1:00

Quad A, B, C at 1:30-3:30

Hope to see everyone there ready to enjoy a day outside, race, just ride, hey come & hang out! Bring the kids out to watch!

SEE YA THERE!

Have you ever done this event? Does it go all around their property and onto the MX tracks? This is posted on the NEATV site too...was curious if it is a mild course or if it has gnarly mud holes and rocks everywhere. I might be into coming down to play...to make a pilot prescence. You say its 30 bucks to enter?

they are under a lot of pressure from people that have moved into the area in the past few years and don't like the noise. they have been racing there for almost 50 years but the new people are mostly from new york city and they bring money and political clout. they will eventually succeed in closing the track. it's not right.
