Sorry I have not reponded yet David. I have been out of town alot and have not had a chance to catch up on my reading on the board. I would really be interested in this and I will also jump on that other board and post my thought's and or concearns in order to assist in justifying our class and the future of our sport here in Texas.
P.S - Sorry I did not make it last weekend. I still need to replace that part that the main jet screws into on the Pilot since it is apparently stripped out. I still havent had the chance to put that damn LT FL350 together all the way... Might need you to come out to the casa so I have some motivation to finish the LT setup as well as finish fabing the radiator , and putting the head on with the new custom seals that I had made up for that new cylinder. Just have to put all 3 head gaskets on her since the single layer put her at a static compression of nearly 180 psi. I hope 3 will put it at arround 160ish. I also need a set of some rims off a honda 400ex or 450r since my other fl350 aluminum ones will no longer work with the new bolt pattern for a 450R. I have a bunch of stuff that I will be parting with in the near future as well as an extra pilot cylinder that needs to be sleaved.
The CR250R - Is at my supension guy's shop. The Race Tech setup he installed was way way to stiff for that long 114 + mile ride in the mountains of Talamina OK . Here is a vey short clip that shows how the (Rear) suspension was not setup properly. Keep in mind that we were all dog tired after 4 straight days of riding 8hr a day from sunrise to sunset - no coming back to the campsite to take a break. We just pack our bags with food and water and supplies and hope we make it back. We would start on a trail (Single Track) and ride it until it led us back to the park. By this time I was wore the hell out from the bike!
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zSTwcsm6TvUI have a Secret Squirrel project I am working on.... CR500AF...heheh... I will add this to the fleet!!!! Long live HONDA!
Sorry for the long drawn out story

I will for sure show my support for our beloved sport and the future addition of a class for our rides!
