Hello to all, There is a big race coming here to New Mexico on May 5th. Tech inspection is on Friday May 4th.

This is supposed to be the biggest off road race to ever come to New Mexico.

I do not have all the details yet but anyone interested come on down.

Why you racing at night?

How you going to install so its not smashed when you roll over, flip, crash?

Keep in mind when you see someone coming at you at night if you can see their headlights your blinding them and THEY CAN NOT SEE YOU make sure your on your A game if you leave your lights on and they keep driving towards you they might be going to hit you head on, I been blinded by them "light bars" at Glamis many times I just pull over and stop wait for them to pass rather than driving blind.

I would put it on a switch that is handy so you can turn it off easily and also keep your more moderate lights you can use until they pass you.

I lost a race in Texas because they started so early I couldn't see... I am gouing to mount them on the lip of the hood right in front of the steering wheel! Yes I have enough sence to dim the lights if I have someone coming at me! I have to have the Amber lights in front for the races! So they can still see me if I dim the bright ones!
No I don't think I will be doing much racing at night, but When I go west it's nice to ride at night in the summer when it's not so dang hot!

NO NOT YET! I did get it started the other day with a jump start! I have to add a cut off switch for the battery for when I store it! The battery was new when we last rode together! Its my next project!

Hello to all, well I am pretty sure I had first place in the bag until the last lap when I screwed up and rolled my baby. There were 4 arctic cats, some 900 and 800 razors and some other utvs I think they were Yamaha rhino's. One of the arctic cats rolled off of the course in the first lap.
I have more video of the race, I will try and post it as I get it edited for length.

Here is my roll over.

Well that sucks, looks like your left front tire caught something, did it jerk wheel out of your hands?
Was that as bumpy as it looked? Look like a fun track to race, how long did it take to do 1 lap and how many laps were there?

The whoops on that road are very deep in spots but the thing that makes it really tough is that the road has a side ways incline and a lot of the deep whoops are deep on one side and shallow on the other so it tries to pitch you side ways which is what happened to me. I hated that part of the course because of the sideways incline it really slowed me down.

They were 15 mile laps, we were on a time schedule for the big trucks to race so we only did five laps.

looking at the video your rear end came up too high and left... tire didn't hit nothing till you had rolled it, and that's where you lost the bead from what I can see! Stock wheels! Glad you didn't break your neck...
This was the smoothest part of the course!

this is why you need a neck brace!

Glad to hear you are ok buddy! Looked like alot of fun indeed. Thank you for representing our PILOT POWER, and making it known to all that we can still be competitive!!!

I have to agree with Turbo, a neck brace sure does help alot and even aids in comfort as well as safety. You only have one neck right? :-)

Holy shit wish I was their, you gotta show me that trail some day hopefully someone mapped it with the GPS or has a good memory?

That all BLM lands?

Watched the video 2x MORE PLEASE!

Engine sounding good thanks for leaving the Engine sounds and not putting some GAY X3 music on the video :-) Nothing like the sounds of a fine tuned 2 cycle Engine at race speed.

Go back to that same rough section of trail and try to coast over the smooth sections and be under full acceleration over the rough stuff see what you think, seem to me your coasting over the rough stuff.

Excellent video!

Any damage to the tire and rim from the ride back?
