I am re-upholstering my Seat Bottom and Back. I've redone the foam already and figured out the back and it's small hooks, but how do you fasten the bottom upholstery? There is a channel there but what goes in it to hold the fabric in place?

If I remember correctly, there is a rubber "hose" that you tuck in to hold the material in place in the channel...kinda like a screen door......

That makes total sense. Any Home Depot hacks to use?

Not that I am aware of......it has been a long time since I did mine......I would ASSume that you could use some kind of fuel tubing of the correct dimensions......maybe one one the FL250 guys could chime in...sorry, wish I knew more.....good luck

How about using weed trimmer line? It should be very close to what was in it originally.

I actually bought some 4 foot bungee cords from home depot and I did a test fit and it squeezes right in the channel. I'll post pics of it once I get to doing the seat bottom.

FYI, he Home Depot Bungees worked like a charm. They fit the channel nice and tight yet not impossible to install.

I am very happy considering this is my first time at upholstering and with foam installation. The cut was a little weird at the front bottom but overall still happy. I can't wait to try them out.
